Dear Aspirants,

Trained man power is a basic need for economic growth of our country. Industrial Training Institutes play a major role in providing such work force. Considerable efforts are the need of the hour to start both government and private Industrial Training Institutes particularly in the backward regions to provide mainly skill development required by utilizing man power of socially and economically underprivileged sector of the society.

Moreover, many students due to several reasons, would not be able to pursue college education beyond S.S.L.C. Training at ITIs becomes most suitable under these circumstances. Employment opportunities are also more for ITI trained personnel to meet the base level needs of ever expanding industrial activity in the country.

The above factors formed base and culminated in preparing proposal of starting an ITI at our own building existing in Saraswatipuram, Tumkur. Approval of Director General of Employment and Training (DGET), New Delhi was accorded in July 2012 to start the ITI. Initially trades of Fitter and Electrician have been started. We hope to expand this activity to start other trades to meet the demand of the industry.
