Dear All,

It is our immense pleasure to mention here that Valmiki Vidyavardhaka Sangha (Education Society) successfully providing Education and boarding for needs of the rural poor since past three decades through its Vakmiki Residential High School, B.H. Road, Tumkur. It is heartening to note that the S.S.L.C results of this School are above 95 % on an average.

A desire to expand educational activity was lingering in my mind for a long time. Out of various alternatives, starting an ITI was found acceptable to the members of Valmiki Vidyavardhaka Sangha. This opinion was based on the growing need of skilled man power to serve the industry and society. Considering the above aspects, starting of ITI by Valmiki Vidyavardhaka Sangha, Tumkur is a small step where it will be a big leap for rural candidates. Efforts of Board Members and Community Intellectuals are laudable in processing the papers at various stages.

I hope that the Valmiki ITI would strive to meet the aspiration of the society in eradicating economic inequality by imparting skill based training.
